For those of you who've actually WATCHED Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, my words are justified.

Case in point:
He pretty much acted like the living dead after Kamina died, even AFTER he'd been given that life-changing speech about "not believing in the Kamina that believed in you, but to believe in you who believes in yourself". If you don't believe me, then just look at the bags under his eyes after Episode 8.
